This is version 0.1 of CongressDB, an experimental political analysis site. CongressDB is in early beta. You should double-check any results here with another source before using it for anything important (or even for anything trivial).

CongressDB was created to serve the needs of the Fighting 29th, a weblog covering New York's 29th Congressional District.

CongressDB uses data packaged and made available by the generous GovTrack.us site.

CongressDB uses the Django web framework. Graphs are produced using Matplotlib.

Our look is based on a template from Free CSS Templates.

The underlying data for CongressDB is in the public domain. Our analysis is released under a Creative Commons share-alike license, which means you should give a shout out to this site if you use one of our charts or graphs.
